About Us

Adoette & Ash is owned by husband and wife team, Tim and Sara Hecklinski, and is located just northeast of Memphis, TN.

Tim enjoys fishing, football, and wrenching on old cars. He has more hobbies than several people combined, and can't ever sit still 

("If you rest, you rust!") 

Sara enjoys searching for cool antiques, doting on her houseplants (over 100!) and hanging out with rescue dogs Teko Marie & Gigi Wiggles. 

 We both enjoy eating good food & drinking good beer, wine, and whiskey, spending time with friends (not often enough), and being outside doing anything (so long as its warm).

Adoette & Ash started out as our weekend hobby working on small personal wood projects, making a few gifts, and selling things here & there. 

Over the years, we made quite a few woodworking friends in the small Lakeshore towns of west Michigan, in the backwoods of Minnesota, and here in the Memphis area. More often than not, we found ourselves spending evenings and weekends picking up logs from residential yards, and eventually started milling and selling live edge slabs, boards, and lumber. 

Currently our business focus is milling lumber from trees found all over the Midwest and Mid-South regions. We have partnered with Ten Penni Saw Mills and expanded into the vacuum kiln drying service. 

We always have small batches of specialty wood for sale, with an ever changing inventory of live edge slabs and lumber!
